The Exeter Half Marathon took place on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th February. The event was organised by Exeter City Community Trust.

The races are specifically timed to help runners in their training plan for a spring marathon.

The start and finish was located at the Piazza Terracina at Exeter Historic Quayside with the race headquarters were based at the Haven Banks outdoor Education Centre. The route took the runners along the footpaths and cycle tracks along the River Exe and Exeter Canal. There were two sections of the double loop that headed out around a residential area and an industrial section.

On the Saturday, weather conditions were dry but overcast. There was a stiff headwind to battle against on the homeward stretch.
Five Teignbridge Trotters travelled the short distance to test their fitness levels. They all performed tremendously well and finished high up in the results.
