Suzie enjoys the Dark Valley Half Marathon

On the evening of Saturday 11^th November, Suzie Mills completed the Dark Valley Half Marathon. It’s a new event and a new venue for White Star Running, where there was also a 10K at Moors Valley Country Park, Dorset.

The half delivered everything you expect from a WSR event; excellent marshals, great organisation and two stops at the famous “love station”. On the course itself, there was was plenty of mud and hills but luckily the heavy rain that was forecast stayed away. Suzie said it was a great, yet tough, two lap course and she finished in 2:54:01, where she admitted to spending too much time at the Love Station.

Annabelle Evans, Jim Donovan and Sally Ingledew tackled the hills of the Teign Valley at the Drogo 10 multi-terrain 10-miler on Sunday November 12.  Annabelle Evans came 70th in 1:22.42, Jim was 157th in 1:31.05 and Sally 334th in 1:54.33.
