Brighton Marathon, Paris Marathon and a tough local event

With Spring Marathon season in full swing, Catherine Burgess took on the Paris Marathon on Sunday 9^th April.  In very hot conditions, Catherine finished in 4:14:29.  

Meanwhile, Sue Tremlett completed her second marathon, running in Brighton Marathon.  She had a sub-5 hour target in mind and finished in 4:51:40 on what was a hot day on a flat course.  Also, Andy Southard finished in 4:51:38 and Claire Mills did 4:49 (marathon debut).

Closer to home, Geoff Davey took part in the Honiton Hippo, organised by Honiton RC.  It’s a tough, hilly multi-terrain route and Geoff finished in 54:47 for 5^th overall, and second M40.
