Twenty hardy Trotters braved the blustery wind and headed to East Devon for the Bicton Blister, a tough 10-mile taking in Woodbury Common.
Some 415 runners lined up on the start line with Trotters grabbing team and individual prizes to boot.
Roger Easterbrook led the Teignbridge contingent home in 1:04.31 for eighth place in the overall standings and third V40. Tim Pratt was next in 1:08.29, 18th overall, and third home was ladies captain Helen Anthony in 1:11.20 for third female, second FV35 and 35th overall.
Roger Easterbrook, Bruce Campbell, Allen Taylor and Derek Skinner landed the second male veteran team prize. Jacki Woon was third FV50 and she joined Helen Anthony and Emily Levey in second female senior team and second placed FV team.

*The Winter 3k Series at Exeter Arena got off to a good start. The first round of the seeded races got underway on Monday 23 November at Exeter Arena.
Results are:
A race: Geoff Davey 9.53 fourth, Tim Pratt 10.00 fifth, Jamie Barnett 10.18 eighth, Mike Hooper 10.22 10th, Kevin Woodard 10.29 12th; B race: Helen Anthony 11.01 11th; C race: Mandy Wheeler 12.04 12th; D race: Stu Moulson 13.17, Richard Keatley 13.34 11th; E race: Tina Caunter 15.06 seventh.
It was a fine effort from all involved - with Richard Keatley taking a huge 3minuntes off his previous time at that distance - and with another one planned on Monday 8 February, he, like many others, will no doubt be looking to improve their times.
*Claire Ayling, Kirsty Golden and Stephen Cantello represented the Royal Blues at the Plymouth 10k on Sunday 15 November. Claire shaved a huge five minutes off her previous 10k best, coming 599th in 55.17. Kirsty scored herself a PB in 57.35, 743rd, and Stephen Cantello clocked 1.05.15 for 1095th. There were 1,400 runners in total.
*Mark Wotton travelled to Colworth near Northampton for the Hare and Tortoise Marathon on Sunday 29 November, completing the very wet and muddy course in 5 hours and 18 mins.
