Over in Ireland the “Dublin marathon” took place on Monday 29th October .Our very own marathon queen Sally Ingledew took it to put this marathon as her 100th run over the 26.2 mile distance.

It was only back in 2008 that she completed her first one which was the world famous “London marathon”. During her second one in Snowdon she saw someone wearing the infamous “100 club vest” and this gave her the inspiration to reach the goal herself. In 2008 she completed 4 marathons, 2009 she did 13, 2010 she completed 21, 2011 finished 31 and this year she has done 31 which makes the amazing total of 100! These included two Quadzillas which is four consecutive marathons ran over four days and some double marathons too to reach her target. Her Dublin 100th was completed in 4.28.57.Sally has run for the Teignbridge trotters for nearly 4 years and joins only Selina Da Silva and Robert Tinnyunt from the trotters to complete this epic achievement but Sally has completed it in the quickest time. She now becomes the proud member of the prestigious “100 club"  vest ! Fantastic news  Sally ! The Teignbridge Trotters are very proud of you.
