Reversing the loop draws a good crowd

A warm humid evening on Friday 29th July saw 22 trotters take on the tough 4 mile Sandy gate loop but in reverse! It didn’t make it any easier but for most it was a PB this way as only Craig Churchill, Dave Dunn, Noel Fowler, Roger Hales and Tarquin had done the course that way two months ago on its first running this way. It still produced some strong times notable from Tarquin who smashed last months PB by 22 seconds!Tarquin gave Dave Tomlin (Tommo) a strong race and fought all the way around to just be pipped by Tommo at the finish by 2 seconds! Craig Churchill, who arrived fresh from seeing his second son born at Torbay Hospital on Thursday lunchtime, also did a personal best time. Simon Boobyer, Tracy Elphick and Jess Parkes also did PBs but have only ran the loop once before.
