Trotters "fly" around the Forest

In stark contrast to the previous weekend, the forest flyer at Haldon Forest on the outskirts of Exeter ,saw a bright and calm evening .Ran at 7pm in the evening by the Dawlish Coasters it saw 137 runners pace themselves around the off road tracks and cycle paths of the forest.

The start was scattered with 24 royal blues, ready to battle around the course. The fast first mile and a half got the blood flowing to the legs which was needed as a very steep uphill section was next in store. This continued for about a mile followed by tree lined twisting gravel paths to the finish.

David Tomlin made the course seem easy with a time of 32.15 gaining 5th overall . Daryl"Tarquin"Milford worked hard in chasing him in 33.31 and Wavell Vigers in his shadow 33.34 -10th and 11th respectively completing the unstoppable trio.
