Ten Teignbridge Trotters took part in the Plymouth Half-Marathon on Sunday, working hard to produce some excellent times. Gloomy forecasts of heavy rain proved to be unfounded and, in the end, the conditions didn't present the runners with any major problems.
Chris Cleave led the Royal Blues home. His fine time of 1.28.42 placed him 120th out of 3,421 finishers. Chris's brother, Peter, wasn't far behind, finishing in 1.31.26. Sharon Bowman did well, clocking 1.49.50 for a personal best performance.
Also flying the Teignbridge flag were Mark Hamling (1.35.01), Julia Proctor (1.45.52), Gia D'Aprano (1.47.56), Steve Rawlinson (1.52.44), Stephen Wallace (1.54.23), Richard Keatley (1.54.51) and Milos Erben (1.57.56).
