Trotters fly flag at Festival 4

Three Teignbridge Trotters travelled to Exeter last Thursday (26/6) to take part in the Ironbridge Runner Festival 4. This flat four-miler takes in the picturesque footpaths and cycle tracks around the River Exe and the Exeter Canal. Runners familiar with the Exeter Last Chance or First Chance 10K will be familiar with the terrain. The Festival 4 includes part of this route but runners travel in the opposite direction.

The conditions on Thursday evening were good for running - cool, if a little blustery. Mark Becker led the Trotters home, finishing in 28.22 and gaining 18th place out of 113 finishers. Tracy Elphick clocked 29.02 and Jo Becker crossed the line in 36.07.
