More results to catch up on than usual. Apologies for the backlog - IT issues to blame!
So in no particular order here goes.
Round 3 of the Winter 3K track series took place in December with a small turn out of Trotters. Leading the way home was Gary Watson 11.26 followed by John Caunter 12.25, Stuart Moulson 13.14 & Tina Caunter 14.43. No race in January, next round in February.
It was also the 3rd round of the Westward league cross country, held this time at Exeter and attracting a good sprinkling of Trotters. Eyvoll Aston, Tina Caunter and El Taylor representing the Ladies. For the Men 1st in was Dave Tomlin followed by Roger Hayes, Roger Hales, John Tweedie, John Caunter, John Crocker, Jimmy Donovan on the comeback trail with a stormer, Stuart Moulson, Dave Dunn & Matt Dunn.
Continuing the usual off-road theme for the Winter, the annual Cockington Christmas Caper took place. A tough 7 mile event in slippery conditions saw new Trotter Mike Roberts lead the way home 18th in 1.12.13. He was supported by Graham Penn 1.17.41, Elizabeth Steeves 1.28.51 and 1st F45 and Marsha Garrard 1.35.33 It was a busy weekend for Graham Penn who also completed the Gables Santa Gallop, an 8k offering in approx 38.30.
Back on the road Syd and Daughter Michelle travelled to do the Swindon 10K in rather unpleasant conditions, Syd first home 49.05 followed by Michelle 50.04. Also taking part was Mark Wotton who ran just inside 45 minutes.
The Trotters were also well represented at the Bicton Blister. 12ish miles of off-road heaven saw Roger Hayes finish an impressive 7th amongst 345 others. The Trotter turn-out overall was equally as impressive with almost 20 others taking part. Well done to you all.
