Garry, John and Syd fly the flag for Royal Blues

A trio of Trotters flew the flag for the Royal Blues at the weekend. Garry Smart and John Tweedie travelled to Plymouth for the Sam Penny Scenic Challenge on Saturday evening. Garry completed the six-mile course in 38.55, coming 9th out of 118 finishers. John also had a good run, finishing in 43.04.

The following day, Syd Willocks made a welcome return to the racing circuit at the Bampton 10K. He finished 128th out of 212 runners, in an encouraging 52.00.

The results for the Ruby Run Half-Marathon on June 8 have now been released: Mark Hamling 1.38.52, Paul Thomas 1.48.23, Graham Penn 1.52.12, Dennis Milstead 1.55.57 and Steve Rawlinson 1.58.33.
